WHY IT’S EASIER FOR WOMEN TO MAKE HEAVEN THAN MEN

The issue of eternal life and the question of what happens after death, has occupied the mind of scholars from generation to generation throughout human history, But one thing has remained dominant throughout history, and that is the reward of HEAVEN OR HELL, This phenomena has also cut across many religions and cultures, but his article on “why it is easier for women to make heaven than men” will focus more on the Christian religion perspective.

VALID REASONS WHY MORE WOMEN WILL MAKE HEAVEN

1.     CHURCH ATTENDANCE VS BAR AND CLUB ATTENDANCE

I happen to visit a lot of churches and from the statistics gathered, the church attendance and active participation in church activities of Women is 70% while that of the men is 30%, also in many churches I visited, The Women fellowship is always the largest, richest and most active department in the church.

Whereas if you visit most clubs and bars on Sundays, the attendance of men is 80% while women is 20%

2.     BIBLICAL INJUNCTIONS

In the Bible Jesus told a parable in the book of Matthew 19:24 saying: “And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God” This parable is stressing the need for humility as a criteria which most men lack in their lives, whereas women are from their tender age taught to be humble, respectful and obey and serve, this prepares them for heaven.

Also there is another injunction for making heaven in Matthew 5:3

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” This also points to being spiritually bankrupt, realizing that we are nothing in the face of our maker and He is the meaning of our whole being and existence,

This also happen to be absent in the lives of men who tend to be egoistic in nature, while women can easily get cheesy and remorseful, Men find it very hard to apologize and ask for forgiveness, while women can be very apologetic and repentant.

3.     PSYCOMOTOR ANALYSIS

Women can easily be convinced and moved by what they hear, but men are more convinced by what they see, this makes it easy for women to make heaven because the gospel is preached to the ears for us to believe, while to most men it sounds like fairy tale to their ears.

4.     PERCEPTION OF PASTORS AND MINISTERS

Most men perceive the pastors as their fellow men and as such treat them with contempt while most women perceive their ministers as God Personified, and treat them with higher respect and regard, and this is another attribute to buy the ticket of heaven.

5.     BRAVERY/FEAR OF GOD

While the bible contains an account of most men confronting divinity, where Moses, Elijah, Abraham and other prophets had direct interaction with God, Jacob even wrestled with an angel, This shows that men are naturally brave and at some point get carried away and disobey God which can prevent them from making heaven, This can be seen where Saul disobeyed a direct command from God etc. while women always have the fear of God in them.

6.     DECEPTION

Most Men are deceptive in nature, and also polygamous and full of lies,

 A lifestyle they exhibit in their dealings with their fellow human beings and eventually take to the House of God.
